The '33 lost a member of its family recently.  Anyone who's marveled at the paintings adoring the walls inside and outside the bar, will know Fritze.   Raised in an orphange, he was on his own on 13.  A self-educated renaissance man - carpenter, sailor, boxer, artist and master story-teller from Alaska to San Francisco - Fritze will be missed by all his friends and family at the '33.

A celebration of his life will be held at the '33 on Sunday, 2/12 at Noon.
